With a preventative maintenance program from Comtract Air Compressors you can significantly increase the life expectancy and efficiency of your compressed air equipment and ensure that it is running at its full potential.
The maintenance of a compressor is similar to that of an automobile, in that it requires regular fluid and filter replacements to make sure it runs smoothly. Typically, it is recommended to change the following maintenance parts at the following intervals as applicable,
- Air filters – 2,000 hours
- Oil – 4,000 hours
- Oil filters – 2,000 hours
- Separators – 4,000 or 8,000 hours
- Line filters – 8,000 hours
- Oil/Water separators – 8,000 hours
